Founded in 2021, Estudio Niksen is a Montreal lifestyle boutique offering wardrobe and homeware pieces with various influences and aesthetics. They present rare finds from independent designers and brands worldwide, notably in South Korea and Japan. Estudio Niksen relies on comprehensive and innovative cuts and its product’s quality and functionality. In addition, they present a collection of art and objects to elevate your living space which come to life from either in-house designing and development or from working with various artists and artisans. The whole, strengthening a sense of community and collaboration, which stand firm as core values for the collective. We sat down with them for a conversation in the summer of 2021 while they were still developing the company from home. For the owners, Andrés Barrios and Gabrielle Gagné, Estudio Niksen have always been about curation. Through meaningful products and designs crafted worldwide, they consider themselves lucky enough to explore new creative and cultural horizons. They stand by their desire to share them with their community as they grow in their ever-evolving chapter.
